Just pause and enjoy life.

The idea for this blog arose during one of our closest friend’s bachelorette party. As we limped off the dance floor after a dreadful, but enthusiastic attempt at salsa or at least our interpretation of what salsa looked like, we realized how we wished we had more moments like this. Not the pinched toes part, but the taking time to enjoy life part. As medical students (Michelle and I) and grad student (Renee), we get caught up in the day to day grind. We live from exam to exam, rotation to rotation, forever stuck in the proverbial hamster wheel. We forget that we live in a world much bigger than the distance from our home to the library. We’ve created this blog as a reminder to us to take off our blinders and explore with a curious and open mind.
